In Crisis?

There are many resources available to you if you feel that you are in a crisis and are feeling unsafe. If you are feeling suicidal and need immediate assistance please call 911 or your local emergency service.

Other resources exist to help in a crisis, from hotlines to chat groups and online forums. Please remember that only a doctor should make a diagnosis, change a medication routine or dispense other medical advice.

The International Association for Suicide Prevention maintains a list of crisis resources around the world: https://www.iasp.info/resources/Crisis_Centres/

In Canada, a list of crisis centers is maintained by the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention. Please see http://suicideprevention.ca/need-help/ for a list of crisis centers by province.

If you are looking for online support, there are chat and forums at http://www.depression-chat-rooms.org/

If you are feeling unsafe and need immediate help please contact 911 or your local emergency service.
